Animal Stories Birthday Card!

It was my nephews 2nd birthday on Saturday so I made him a card with some of the new items from the new Stampin Up catalog. I used the very cute Animal Stories stamp set with the coordinating DSP Tall Tales. I just love how the new "In Colors" go with the patterned paper. I also used the new Modern Label punch. Last but not least I stamped the "Happy Birthday" in the new Teeny Tiny Wishes set. I just love this set. It has so many different greetings. I just love the new colors. I used Crushed Curry cardstock and ink, Dusty Durango Ink and cardstock for and Soft Suede. I love how it turned out. And my nephew loved the little whale...

Picture Frame

I have been looking for a cute picture frame to put a picture of my son in and have not been able to find one. So I decided to make one myself. I bought a picture frame for two dollars at Joanns. Everything else I got at Target from the dollar bin. I am pretty pleased with how it turned out. Please excuse my microwave in the background. I have to find a place to take pics that has better light.

My partner for this months Aloha RAK is on the ball. I haven't even gotten everything together for her RAK and I received mine today. My partner for the month of Feb is the super talented Michelle from the blog http://www.mushiscreativeinspirations.blogspot.com/ She is an awesome papercrafter. So talented. I have loved viewing her blog and have gotten some great ideas. She made me the cutest card and candy tin and also gave me a cute my favorite things stamp set and some cute valentines ribbon. I am happy to be in this RAK because you get to meet people from all over. Thanks again Michelle. I will be getting your RAK finished this weekend and will be sending it out on monday or tuesday.

Karson and Santa

On sunday my husband and I took Karson to see Santa. He wasn't very sure of him. I had to actually sit with him so that he would even sit still. He was bribed with candy canes and finally gave in to just sitting there. As we were getting ready to leave he decided to talk to santa. lol. He told him he wants motorcycles. lol.. That is all that he has asked for. Right now we have gotten him everything but motorocyles so we still have to make a trip to the store to get one. Christmas morning will be so fun because he is really getting into opening gifts and he loves the christmas tree...

LATE HALLOWEEN PICS

Last friday was my son Karson's halloween party at his daycare. I took the day off to go help. Let me tell you. Seven two year olds can be hard to handle. lol. I just love his school(that is what Karson calls it) and his teachers. I also love the kids in his class. For the most part he has been with the same kids since he started there when he was six months old. The kids had quite a time decorating cupcakes that I had made, digging for candy in the hay and trick or treating. It was such a fun day and Karson thought he was big stuff having his mommy there.

My Fall Secret Sister over at the Papercrafts Site

I am in a swap over at papercrafts and for Oct, Nov and Dec we have to send a handmade card and a little something extra. My secret sis has been awesome.This time she sent me a very pretty Fall card, some cute fall stickers and some really cute leave embellishments. She is awesome......

Today we are going to one of our friends house to carve pumpkins.That should be fun. Lots of kids, pumpkin guts and pizza. Last night we went to Walmart and got Karson his costume. He is going to be Superman. He is excited. He also got a Elmo Bucket to carry his loot in. I know that there are probaly not going to be too many Supermans carrying Elmo's but it was a compromise since we didn't get the Elmo costume he also liked.

I LOVE FALL

The weather has been great here in Ohio. I just love the fall weather. The trees are changing, the sky is so blue and the temp is perfect. I have been chasing around my two year old all weekend. Last night he got a hold of one of his crayons somehow and decided to color his face.

He is so smart for his age. He just turned two and can count to 10, knows all of his abc's and knows all of his colors and shapes. He is just to smart for his own good. I don't know how stay at home mom's do it. I am just exhausted after two days of just chasing him around.

Today he went on a tractor ride with my husband Kevin. Kevin let him steer and he thought he was big stuff. He loves to help my husband do things around the house. It is so cute.

I made a quick card this evening for one of my friends from work. She had surgery so I thought that it would be nice to send her a card. I wish so much that I had a Cuttlebug. I am putting it on my christmas list for sure. I see all of the wonderful things that can be done and it makes me so excited to think of the possiblities. I just love the paper that I used for the card. It is from Fancy Pants. And the images are from Studio G. I just colored them in with bic markers since I cannot invest in the Copics right now. And they work for now.

Quick and Simple Birthday Card

Here is a quick and simple card I made for a friends birthday. The background paper I got from the dollar tree. They have some really cute stuff.

I got woken up by my two year old this morning at 6. So as I was trying to get ready for work he was trying to put my makeup in the toilet and use my toothbrush on his hair. He is something else. He makes me pull my hair at sometimes but then it is so hard to get to mad at him because he is so darn cute.

Bayleighs Birthday

Today is my youngest nieces birthday party. She will be 4 on monday. I cannot believe it. I made her a card and took a pic of it with my camera phone. It is a little blurry but I will be trying to figure out my camera here soon.

Today also starts College Football Season. Go Bucks. My whole family included my husbands are big Ohio State fans. Our son even came home in a Ohio State outfit.

Off to get ready for the party.
